For Harry and the Potters, this is our first tour where the bulk of venues that we’ll be playing are rock clubs rather than libraries. There was something really special about performing in libraries, but we’re hoping this summer, that we can create something equally special by performing in these more normal show spaces.
At this point in our career, we’ve played over 450 shows and we’ve come to realize that a show can only be as awesome and amazing as the audience will allow. So when we conceived this idea of Unlimited Enthusiasm, we thought that we should include the audience in the planning of the actual events!
For each night of tour, the bands will be showing up and rocking out. This tour has 40 shows and we will be giving you 150% EVERY NIGHT! What we are asking is that for ONE NIGHT, you give us all of your ENTHUSIASM! We need volunteers who will help craft each show in to a unique and special night for all involved. There are so many ways in which we can make these nights amazing and we want your ideas for how that can happen.
We want these shows to be so incredible that people don’t even realize it until like 10 years later, when they look back and think of the greatest night of their lives and remember the Unlimited Enthusiasm Expo from Summer 2008!

To help you get extra pumped up for the Unlimited Enthusiasm Expo, we asked our friend Jason Anderson to record a theme song. Your assignment is to learn all the words to this song. It is the OFFICIAL song of Camp Jump and Yell and it must be sung at every show on tour this summer!
The DIY traveling summer camp circus is coming to town!
Camp fires! Songs about being a wizard! Giant monsters! Cool big videos! Rock and roll aerobics! Inflatable monkeys! Dancing sock puppets! Going bananas! Circus tents! Jumping! Yelling! More jumping!
We are ridiculously excited! And we are totally ENTHUSIASTIC about crossing the country for six weeks and bringing back fun summer tours! Summer tours like before they were devoured by huge corporate interests! Our corporate interest is in having an AWESOME TIME!
We believe that each show can only be as awesome as all of the people involved. We’ll be bringing the rock, but we need you to bring something too. We want all of your joy, your dreams, your boundless energy, and even your nervous, caffeinated-excitement. Bring it all with you this summer. A rock and roll tour like this can be whatever we want, so long as we have one thing: Unlimited Enthusiasm.
